Rs 7.48 crore has been approved by the Chhattisgarh Government Ministry of Water Resources Department for the repair and lining work of distributor branch number-14 under the Lavan distribution branch canal of Mahanadi project in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district’s development block-Balodabazar.
Lavan branch of Mahanadi project connected with canal, remodeling and CC of Kasiyara, Paisar, Sarkhor Pandariya and Parsadih minor canals. Administrative approval of Rs 7 crore 48 lakh 65 thousand has been given to Chief Engineer Mahanadi Project Raipur for lining work and structures work. On completion of the work of this scheme, irrigation capacity is proposed in a total area of 1732 hectares.
