Raipur: Rs.49.42 Crore Approved For Ravi Shankar Sagar Project Works

Raipur, 02 July 2020. 49 crore 42 lakh 32 thousand rupees have been sanctioned by the state government for various works of Ravi Shankar Sagar Project (Gangrel) in Dhamtari district. In these works, 7 crore 57 lakh 70 thousand rupees have been approved for aproxy treatment in Teeth and Bucket floor, the glacial part of Gangrel. Similarly, Rs 37 crore 44 lakh 15 thousand has been sanctioned for the excavation work of the pilot channel in the Spiel channel of the project.

2 crore 12 thousand rupees have been sanctioned for the turfing work and fencing work under the dam on the down stream part of the project and Rs. 2 crore 40 lakh 35 thousand for control and cleaning of seepage happening in the gallery of the dam. Administrative approval has been issued to the Chief Engineer Mahanadi Project Water Resources Department Raipur for carrying out these works of Ravi Shankar Sagar Project from Ministry of Water Resources Department, Mahanadi Bhawan. Instructions have been given to the officers to complete the works of the project with complete quality within the stipulated time.
