The Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned Rs 21 crore 2 lakh 56 thousand for carrying out the works of various irrigation projects in the state. With the completion of irrigation schemes, regional farmers will be able to get irrigation facility in 170 hectare area.
In the sanctioned irrigation schemes, administrative approval of Rs 2 crore 12 lakh 68 thousand has been granted for embankment construction work on the banks of Khasra No.-752 in Risama drain of Durg development block of Durg district. Administrative approval of Rs 2 crore 49 lakh 5 thousand has been granted for the construction work of Deori Navagaon stop dam cum ramp on Tengna Nallah of Dhamdha development block. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 40 hectare area. Administrative approval of Rs 2 crore 53 lakh 80 thousand has been given for the construction work of Rapta cum stop dam on Paroda drain of Dhamdha block. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 40 hectare area. Administrative approval of Rs 3 crore 92 lakh 90 thousand has been granted for the construction work of Atari stopdam cum ramp in Gujra Nala of Patan development block. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 35 hectare area.
Administrative approval of Rs 2 crore 49 lakh three thousand has been given for the construction work of stop dam cum ramp in Maniyari drain of Saja development block of Bemetara district. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 60 hectare area. Administrative approval of Rs 2 crore 95 lakh 92 thousand has been given for Chuhka flood control work on Dotu drain of development block-Saja. Administrative approval of Rs one crore 60 lakh 69 thousand has been granted for the construction of ghat in the upstream of Pateli Anicut of Daundi development block of Balod district. Administrative approval of Rs 2 crore 88 lakh 49 thousand has been accorded for the protective work on the right side near Bargaon siphon located on Kharkhara supplementary canal of Kharkhara Reservoir medium project of development block-Dondilohapara.
