Officers honored for outstanding work in the field of child protection
Work with caution and sensitivity in resolving children’s cases: Mrs. Prabha Dubey
Raipur, 25 January 2021. Chairperson of Chhattisgarh Child Rights Protection Commission Smt. Prabha Dubey took an introductory review meeting of the newly elected office bearers of Child Welfare Committees of Durg Division at the Commission Office in Raipur. In the meeting, Mrs. Dubey said that while resolving cases regarding children, work with sensitivity and caution. Psychological counseling must be provided to parents of children suffering from sexual offenses. On this occasion, Additional Superintendent of Police, Rajnandgaon, Mrs. Suresha Chaubey, CSP, for doing excellent work in the field of child protection. Balodabazar Mr. Subhash Das, Inspector District Durg Mrs. Navi Monica Pandey, Inspector District Balod Mrs. Padma Jagat and District Child Protection Officer Dhamtari Mr. Anand Pathak were awarded the citation.
On this occasion, Secretary of the Commission, Mr. Prateek Khare, while giving detailed information on child rights, clarified the expected role of child welfare committees. Due to 25 January Voters’ Day, the participants were administered oath of government. In the review meeting, all protective arrangements were also made keeping in mind the Kovid-19 epidemic.
