Raipur: Revenue Minister inaugurated operation theater, burn unit, ICU equipped with modern facilities in District Hospital Korba

Raipur 15 January 2021. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Jai Singh Agrawal inaugurated various new facilities at District Hospital, Korba city. Revenue Minister  Jai Singh Aggarwal congratulated all the residents of the district and said that the health facilities which had to go to big cities and spend lakhs of rupees are now available in the district hospital. Revenue Minister Agrawal said that the officials have been directed to implement the announcement of development works of the district made by the Honorable Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel Ji at a rapid pace. He said that the work which has not been done in the last 20 years has been done in the last two years. There will be even better things to do in the coming three years. The minister in charge, Mr. Tekam, the mayor, the chairman, the collector and the officers and employees of the district are engaged in completing the development works. Schools are improving the schools in the district by renovating toilet, boundary walls, roofs. Sports facilities are also being provided to children.             
     Addressing the program, Mayor Shri Rajkishore Prasad said that the residents of Korba district will continue to get facilities under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. It is the government’s priority to make available basic facilities from treatment to education and roads to people. The Mayor also thanked the Revenue Minister Shri Jaisingh Agrawal for providing better and developed treatment facilities to the people of the district. 
        Collector Kiran Kaushal of Korba said that the award has already been received for the rejuvenation of the health facilities available in the district hospital. Modular operation theater, burn unit, modern ICU in Korba district being an industrial district. The unit was in great need. Most items are being used in the health sector under the direction of the Revenue Minister. Better health facilities are constantly being provided in the district. New recruitment is being done through DMF including paramedical staff, doctors. He said that the health facilities of the district will be further improved in the coming times.
        Two new modular operation theaters set up in the district hospital are equipped with modern facilities. The operation theater has a hi-tech sensor door. The room floor and wall are made of antibacterial elements to protect the operation theater from bacteria and infection. The operation theater has a digital display panel. Oxygen supply, room temperature, humidity and necessary information about the patient’s body will continue to be displayed in the panel. New 10-bed ICU installed in the district hospital The units are also equipped with modern technologies. ICU The beds also have an oxygen supply pipeline so that a separate oxygen cylinder will not be required in the ICU beds. A modern 10-bed Emergency Trauma Unit has been set up to provide immediate treatment to the youth injured in the accident.
