Raipur: Revenue Minister Aggarwal reviewed the progress of repair and construction of roads in Korba.

Raipur, 24 November 2020. State Revenue Minister  Jaisingh Agrawal has asked SECL, BALCO, NTPC, IOCL and all other public sector undertakings to complete the repair and construction works of roads in Korba district at the earliest. In an important meeting in the meeting room of the District Panchayat Korba,  Aggarwal asked the officers of the public undertakings to complete the work of repairing and constructing new roads of Korba district on priority and for all their other works, Seek possible support.
The Revenue Minister said that roads are the need of this district, roads are also a priority for the state government.  Aggarwal also expressed satisfaction over the positive initiative taken so far by SECL, BALCO, NTPC, IOCL and all other public sector undertakings for repairing roads in the district and directed for speedy approval and providing funds in all road construction works. Gave it to the authorities. He emphasized to make a time-bound action plan for each road and instructed to complete the work within the stipulated time.
In the meeting, the Revenue Minister instructed SECL Korba to start the road construction work from Sitamani to Imliduggu Chowk. He also directed the officials of SECL to provide the amount for widening of this road soon.  Aggarwal also directed the officials to take action for approval by NTPC management by the end of this month for the work of dividers, drain, convert, filling work and electricity etc. for the two-lane road from Dari Dam to Gopalpur. Revenue Minister instructed the Balco management to expedite the road construction work from Dhyanchand Chowk to Ramsagara to Parasabhata Chowk. He also inquired about progress from Balco management to start work including survey for construction of four lane road from Saket Bhavan Nigam office to Parasabhata Chowk.
The Revenue Minister instructed the management officials to ensure supply of basic necessities in the colonies meant for officers and employees of all public sector undertakings functioning in the district. He said that for the residents of residential colonies of NTPC, NTPC, BALCO, CSEB and other public sector undertakings of all SECL projects in the district, electricity, water, roads, The management of responsibility is the responsibility of the system of cleanliness. The Revenue Minister said that if the management is unable to make arrangements due to lack of human resources then the Municipal Corporation can be charged for it. Collector Smt. Kaushal also conducted a survey of all such residential colonies and residential areas in the next one week and gave instructions to the corporation and public sector officials to prepare and submit the action plan as per the need. The Revenue Minister also identified such colonies of public sector undertakings that are facing water scarcity during the summer season and created water logging during the rainy season and directed the management officials to take necessary steps to resolve the problem.
In the meeting, Mayor of Korba Municipal Corporation, Mr. Rajkishore Prasad, District Collector Mrs. Kiran Kaushal, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Mr. Kundan Kumar, Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Mr. Ashok Sharma including SECL, BALCO, NTPC, IOCL, CSEB and all other PSUs Officers and representatives of the party were also present.
