School Education Minister reviews departmental activities

About one thousand crore rupees will be made available for the repair of schools in the state. Along with this, all the government schools will be painted with cow dung paint and after that the logo will also be installed. Instructions have been given to all district education officers to complete all these works before the next academic session. School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam said this. He was reviewing departmental activities at New Circuit House in Raipur today.
In the meeting Principal Secretary School Education Dr. Alok Shukla, Secretary School Education Dr. S. Bharthidasan, Director Public Education Mr. Sunil Kumar Jain along with district education officers and district mission coordinators were present.
Minister Dr. Tekam said in the review meeting that Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has approved about one thousand crore rupees for the repair of dilapidated schools in the state. District Education Officers will have to enter the information of repairable government schools in the departmental portal within 7 days. He said that the approval and construction agency for the repair work of the schools should be fixed as soon as possible and start the work soon. All repair works should be completed before the commencement of the next academic session. Apart from this, before the start of the education session, all the schools should be painted with cow dung paint. The condition of the schools before repair, at the time of repair work and after completion of the work, compulsorily upload the photographs in the departmental portal.
It was told in the meeting that ‘Sughhar Padvaiya Yojana’ is for all government primary and middle schools. Its purpose is to encourage good work and better performing teachers by self-motivation. Till now 35 thousand 889 schools have challenged for assessment and out of these 4 thousand 490 schools have agreed for third party assessment.
Dr. Tekam said that the District Education Officer should ensure that schools motivate children for 100 percent attendance and encourage all schools to challenge. He said that all the schools should know how to use the ‘Nickler’ app. The headmaster and teachers of the school should challenge the third party by raising the level of education of the children by self-assessment. He said that the school should be encouraged to gradually raise it above the present educational level. Assess the educational qualification of the children and remove their deficiency. For this cooperation of cluster level schools should also be taken. Schools can apply in the portal to join the scheme and can mentor experts for assessment.
In the meeting, suggestions were also given by the District Education Officers for filling up the posts of teachers in Swami Atmanand English medium schools. The District Education Officers were instructed to register the information of out-of-school children in the Dabachbatanhvaanpaddhvaweb and also inform about the measures taken for their education.
Dr. Tekam told the officials to prepare for the board exams, do not allow cheating in the exams. It is the responsibility of teachers to maintain the quality of education in Swami Atmanand Schools. Recruitment of teachers should be completed soon. Children, during the Corona period, the teachers of the state did a better job by making many innovations for the education of the children, which were discussed across the country. Similar innovations should be made continuously in the interest of children’s education. He has directed the District Education Officers to conduct continuous random inspections and assessments of the schools and review them. Inspection and monitoring of schools will speed up studies. Timely attendance of teachers in schools and attendance of children will improve. He said that wherever the kindergarten is being run well, it should be shown to the people’s representatives. After class 12th, there should be a council for the career of the children.
