Ms. Rita Shandilya, Secretary and Relief Commissioner, Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Government of Chhattisgarh, today through video conferencing from Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan, Nodal Officers of Disaster Management of Raigad, Rajnandgaon, Raipur and Sukma, Disaster Mitra Scheme, District Disaster Management Plan, Detailed information about rescue and management was taken from District Fire Protection Plan and LU. He inquired about the activities of disaster management including registration in NDMIS portal under revenue book circular 6-4 at the district level.
The Secretary has instructed the officials of the concerned districts to expedite the selection of Kshatri Mitra volunteers, and send the information to the Revenue and Disaster Management Department by 15 April 2021 for the implementation of the disaster disaster plan. He Scout and Guide, NCC, NSS under the disaster friend scheme. And the Nehru Yuva Kendra has given instructions to connect the volunteers and participation of more and more women.
