Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel gifted development works worth Rs 1021.59 crore to Raipur city.
Bhoomipujan of widening work of Sharda Chowk to Tatyapara Chowk road costing Rs. 134.66 crores was done.
Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan of 6 lane fly over bridge from Telibandha Chowk and Ring Road No. 1 to Agrasen Dham Chowk Labhandi costing Rs 473.17 crore.
Shri Baghel laid the foundation stone of construction of Kharoon River Front, Modern Tehsil Building and construction of new District Registrar Office.
The Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of flyover on NH 53 near Ring Road 01 Udyog Bhawan along with elevated corridor on Mana VIP Marg from Expressway (Temari).

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today gifted development works worth Rs 1021 crore 59 lakh to Raipur city and performed the bhoomi pujan of 7 major development works. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel gifted these development works to the people of Raipur city by garlanding the statue of Chhattisgarh’s dreamer Mr. Khubchand Baghel located in Tatyapara Naveen Market.
During this, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, while addressing the people of Raipur city, said that the present government is working keeping in mind the interests of the general public and these development works have been approved keeping in mind the facilities of everyone. The Chief Minister said that in the last three months alone, the Chhattisgarh government has inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works worth Rs 3600 crore, which will benefit the people of the state. Mr. Baghel said that with the construction of river front of Kharoon River, the people of the city will get a new place to visit where they can spend time with their families. Shri Baghel said that five years ago, following the footsteps of Khubchand Baghel and other great ancestors, the goal of Garhbo Naya Chhattisgarh was set and under this, the government is working on increasing the income of the people and continuously building infrastructure.
Public Works Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, present in the program, in his address congratulated and congratulated the people of Raipur city on getting the gift of development works worth more than one thousand crores. He said that in the last five years, a network of roads and bridges has been laid in the entire state. Shri Sahu said that construction of roads removes people’s problems and makes life easier.
In this program organized at Tatyapara New Market, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Housing Board Chairman Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Mr. Girish Dewangan, Waqf Board Chairman Mr. Salam Rizvi, District Panchayat President Mrs. Domeshwari Verma, Additional Chief Secretary. Shri Subrata Sahu, Secretary of Public Works Department, Shri Alok Katiyar along with other public representatives and officials were present.
Bhoomipujan of these works took place
1. In this Bhoomi Pujan program organized in Naveen Market of Raipur city, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel presented G.E. Bhoomi Pujan was performed for the road widening work from Sharda Chowk to Tatyapara Chowk, the length of which is 510 meters and the construction cost is Rs 134.66 crore. Widening of this road will ease the traffic and the people of the city will get relief from heavy traffic at this place.
2. Bhoomi Pujan of 6-lane fly overbridge construction work from Ring Road No. 1 and Telibandha Chowk of Raipur city to Agrasen Dham Chowk Labhandi, the construction cost of which is Rs 473.13 crore.
3. Construction, development and beautification work of Kharun River Front in Mahadevghat and Chandnidih in Raipur city whose length is 1.55 km. And the construction cost amounts to Rs 197.36 crore.
4. Mana VIP from Expressway (Temari) of Raipur city. Bhoomipujan of 6-lane construction work of the road connecting the airport including elevated corridor on the route, construction cost amounting to Rs 156.27 crore.
5. Construction work of flyover on National Highway-53 near Udyog Bhawan Mahavir Nagar on Ring Road No.1, cost Rs. Bhoomipujan worth Rs 42.42 crore.
6. Bhoomi Pujan of the construction work of Modern Tehsil Office Building under the Revenue and Disaster Department which costs Rs 11.50 crore.
7. Bhoomi Pujan of the construction work of the head office building of Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) to be constructed in Nava Raipur Sector 24 Kayabandha.
