SDM’s link court started in Beltara from today
Beltara was made a full tehsil only last year

The announcements made by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel during the meeting are being swiftly implemented by the district administration. In this episode, the weekly link court facility of SDM Bilaspur in Beltara also started from today. SDM Mr. Shrikant Verma started the work today in Tehsil Office Beltara by duly worshiping Chhattisgarh Mahatari. He heard about one and a half dozen cases during the day today. These include 12 cases related to revenue and 4 related to land acquisition. He also listened to the problems of farmers and villagers from nearby villages. It may be noted that SDM Bilaspur will now have a link court every week on Friday in the Tehsil office. Collector Mr. Saurabh Kumar has issued orders to this effect as per the announcements of the Chief Minister.
It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel had given instructions to set up SDM court once a week on the demand of local people’s representatives and villagers in the meeting program organized at Beltara on 12th of this month. Last year in 2022, Beltara got full tehsil status only on the announcement of the Chief Minister. Due to this, all the work related to tehsil was being done in Beltara. Now he will not have to go to Bilaspur, 35-40 kilometers away, due to the mandatory sitting of the SDM cum Revenue Sub-Divisional Officer one day a week. This will save both their time and money. There is an atmosphere of happiness among the villagers and farmers as the facility of link court of SDM is available with complete tehsil within eight months. He has thanked Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel.
