Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club Chhattisgarh organized the first youth convention at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium Raipur here today in the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. On this occasion the youth of the state, who have brought laurels to the society, state and country by achieving achievements in various fields, were also honored.
The Chief Minister said that according to the dreams of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi, Chhattisgarh Government is working towards organizing and taking forward the youth. We are going to realize the dream of Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh through youth. Youth power should be organized, they should get better opportunities for education and employment, it is included in our priorities.
He said that the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club scheme has been started with the objective of connecting the youth of the state with creative work and making them aware of leadership abilities and social responsibilities. Under this, 13 thousand 269 Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs will be formed in the wards of gram panchayats and urban bodies. Youth in the age group of 15 to 40 years will be involved in this club, who will participate in social and creative activities as well as implementation of government schemes and programs. The Chief Minister said that former Prime Minister Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi started the information revolution in the country and played an important role in promoting computers. youth suffrage, Provided a special opportunity to the youth to move forward through the three-tier Panchayati Raj system.
