Raipur, 26 February 2021. The preparations of Rajim Maghi Punni Mela, starting on February 27, in the famous pilgrimage Rajim of Chhattisgarh situated at Triveni Sangam-Mahanadi, Pari River and Sondhur River confluence, were reviewed by Minister of Religion and Minister in-charge of Gariaband district, Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu. He along with Secretary Dharmaswa Shri P. Anbalagan, local public representatives and district officials took stock of the preparations for the Rajim Mela site. It is worth mentioning that this fair starts from Magha Purnima on 27 February and will continue till Mahashivratri on 11 March. The fair will be inaugurated on February 27 at 5 pm by the Speaker of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, Dr. Charandas Mahant.
