50 percent discount will be available in residential and 30 percent in commercial

The rebate being given in surcharge amount on depositing lump sum amount by defaulters in various schemes of Raipur Development Authority will be available only till March 31, 2023. In this, the maximum outstanding amount in the old schemes is on the allottees of Bombay Market, Boriyakhurd, Hirapur, Raipura and Transport Nagar Ranwabhatha. Under this, the allottees can get a big relief by depositing a lump sum amount.
According to the Authority’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Dharmesh Kumar Sahu, the amount of surcharge is continuously increasing due to non-payment of regular payments in many properties. He informed that there will be a saving of Rs 1.24 crore in surcharge amount by depositing lumpsum amount to the allottees in Bombay market. Similarly, in the Boriyakhurd scheme, the amount of surcharge is Rs 1.00 crore in the outstanding amount of Rs 10.56 crore. In Hirapur, of the outstanding amount of Rs 3.66 crore, there is a surcharge of Rs 1.82 crore. In Raipura, the outstanding amount of Rs 5.95 crore includes surcharge of Rs 3.06 crore and in Transport Nagar Ravanbhatha, out of Rs 3.89 crore, Rs 1.16 crore is yet to be paid as surcharge amount on transport businessmen.
The allottees are benefiting greatly from the 50 percent and 30 percent rebate on payment of lump sum amount on the rebate being given by the authority till March 31. RDA CEO Mr. Sahu has appealed to all the defaulters of various schemes to take maximum advantage of this golden opportunity of exemption being given by Raipur Development Authority. This will benefit them financially and will also save.
