Raipur Railway News: Raipur. General Manager of South East Central Railway, Tarun Prakash, today on 08 January 2025, conducted a window trolley inspection of Bilaspur- Raipur section and inspected the major re-development going on at Raipur station. After this, he also met Governor Raman Deka and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and informed them about various plans of the Railways. After this, the General Manager studied all the aspects in detail and took stock of the development work going on at Raipur station and also observed the layout plan of the model work of redevelopment of Raipur station and reviewed the progress of the work. Keeping safety and security in mind, he gave instructions to complete the passenger facilities and redevelopment work with quality.
General Manager Tarun Prakash held a meeting with the Divisional Railway Manager and the division’s branch officers in the Raipur Division Auditorium. In this meeting, he reviewed the ongoing rail development works in Raipur Division and gave necessary guidelines. During these inspections, the General Manager emphasized on bringing more efficiency and progress in railway works.
Discussed the working system of members of 13B trackmen gang working at Raipur station, inspected the panel room, took information about the crossing of trains, discussed with the station staff about the alertness of train movement, important aspects of passenger safety. Discussed with the driver operator lobby, loco pilot and train manager about the safety parameters of train operation and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials.
On this occasion, Divisional Railway Manager Dayanand along with Principal Chief Departmental Heads of Bilaspur Headquarters and officers of Raipur Railway Division were present.
