Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, while wishing the people of the state on the occasion of World Radio Day on February 13, said that radio is an effective, reliable and public welfare medium of communication, which is playing an important role in providing information, education and entertainment to the common people as well as in preserving folk culture and folk language. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that radio remains relevant even in the digital age. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that in Chhattisgarh, radio is not only a powerful medium to reach government schemesand policies to the common people, but it is also an important medium of education and social awareness to remote villages.
