Raipur: Public Works Minister Sahu handed over development works worth Rs 41 crore 60 lakh in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district

Raipur, 08 November 2020. Public Works Minister  Tamradhwaj Sahu reached village Vijayanagar of Ramchandrapur block of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district today and laid the foundation stone of various construction works worth Rs 41 crore 61 lakh. These construction works mainly include roads, high level bridges and accessways, fair price shops and new gram panchayat buildings. Parliamentary Secretary  Chintamani Maharaj and Parliamentary Secretary Vikas Upadhyay were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the Public Works Minister  Sahu said that in keeping with the convenience of the people in the area, the foundation stone of many construction works has been done. With the construction of the bridge over the Sendur River, many villages will be connected, the water of the river will no longer be an obstacle for them. In view of the convenience of the people, he announced immediate approval of the bridge on the Kusmi road from Chando and asked to prepare and send a proposal for other construction works in the area as soon as possible. Minister  Sahu said that the government has fulfilled the promise made to the farmers, the government has done justice to the farmers of the state through Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana and Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Along with this, the government has started the Dharsa Development Scheme for construction of Dharsa passing through the fields in the village, which will make it easier for farmers to access the fields.

Public Works Minister Mr. Sahu said that work is also being done to construct short distance roads through Mukhyamantri Sugam Road Scheme. It has been decided by the government that only double lane roads will be constructed in the state, no single roads will be constructed. Parliamentary Secretary  Chintamani Maharaj and Vikas Upadhyay and Ramanujganj MLA Brihaspat Singh also informed the public welfare schemes while addressing the community. He said that the development work which has started will continue uninterrupted. On this occasion, materials were provided to the beneficiaries after inspecting the stalls set up by them under various departments.
