Mandal got three world records on the occasion of World Environment Day

Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board got three world records on the occasion of World Environment Day on June 05. Among these, Limca Book of World Record for making canvas painting of 3600 square feet with cow dung paint, Star Book of World Record and World Record Book trophies and certificates for taking 12 lakh 38 thousand 116 environmental protection oaths in a day. Presented by Mr. Mohammad Akbar to the President of the Board, Mr. Subrata Sahu.
Forest and Climate Change Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar praised the public awareness campaign of the Mandal, saying that public participation in environmental protection is necessary in the program organized on this occasion. Mr. Mohammad Akbar said that the participation of all of us is necessary for the eradication of plastic. Our forefathers have handed over healthy and clean environment in heritage. It is the responsibility of all of us to improve it and hand it over to future generations. On the occasion of World Environment Day by Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board, Mr. Akbar while addressing a seminar on the topic “Reducing the use of single use plastic by bringing changes in personal habits and behaviours”, said that there is a deep connection between nature and life. It happens. The security of life and the prosperity of our future depend on its conservation and promotion. At present, protection of the environment and prevention of pollution is very important and we all should participate in it.
While presiding over the program, Senior MLA Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma said that nature is our heritage and the whole world will have to make a united effort to save it. Board’s President and Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu while giving information about the activities of the Board emphasized the need for individual efforts to stop the use of single use plastic. He informed about the three world records achieved by the Mandal with public participation and congratulated the Mandal for this.
Member Secretary of the Board Mr. R.P. Tiwari said that the laboratory vehicle run by the board is going to be started soon. Referring to the state-of-the-art environmental laboratory being prepared by the Board, he described it as an international level laboratory. He also informed about the newly constructed building of the regional office of the circle. Circle’s Public Relations Officer Mr. A.P. Giving information about the world record achieved by the Mandal, Sawant said that the public participation appeal of the Chief Minister had an impact and people from every community and every class supported this campaign of the Mandal. National Awards of Cartoon Watch magazine were also distributed on the occasion. On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, President of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mr. Kuldeep Juneja etc. were present.
