   Raipur, 09 October 2020. Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar performed Bhoomi Pujan at village Sagni under Dhamdha development block of Durg district today at a cost of Rs one crore 44 lakh. On this occasion, Minister Guru Rudrakumar said that according to the intention of the state government, providing pure drinking water to the villagers is the top priority of the government. In order to provide pure drinking water to the people, these schemes, which are being constructed at a cost of one crore 44 lakh rupees, will provide pure drinking water to the population of about four thousand. He said that continuous efforts are being made by preparing an action plan to provide pure drinking water in the state. This tap water scheme will supply pure drinking water to the residents of five villages. Apart from Sagni, people of Parsada, Semaria, Birebhat and Bagdoomer villages will be benefited from this Nal Water Scheme.

    Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar said that the state government is constantly making efforts to provide basic amenities to the people. Initiatives are being taken to expand facilities like health education and electricity in rural areas. To give a boost to the rural economy, Suraji village scheme is being operated. Livelihood centers are being constructed in the Gothans being constructed under this scheme. Where rural youth will get employment opportunities. The Godhan Nyaya Yojana is being operated to increase the income of farmers and livestock farmers. He said that the state government is continuously encouraging farmers for farming. Work is being done to strengthen the farmers financially through the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Villagers including local public representatives were present on the occasion.
