A delegation of Special Backward Tribes Bhunjia and Kamar Samaj from Gariaband, Mahasamund and Dhamtari districts called on Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at his residence here today. The Chief Minister said that protection of the interests of tribals is the first priority of the state government. In the last 4 years, the state government has taken several decisions in the interests of the Scheduled Tribes.

Tribal Welfare Minister of Chhattisgarh Government Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vinod Seven Lal Chandrakar, General Administration Department Secretary Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, representatives of society Mr. Navtu Ram, Mr. Gunjlal Kamar were present during the meeting. The Chief Minister resolved the queries of the youth regarding direct recruitment.
