Raipur, 07 June 2022. Mrs. Astala Kashyap of village Shamtara of Narharpur block of Kanker district is very happy now, a new ration card has been given to her by the district administration Kanker, now she is free from the worry of ration. A meeting-meeting program was organized in village Badal of Narharpur block on June 05, in which the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel was taking feedback on the implementation of government schemes, as well as listening to the problems of the villagers, at that time Astala Bai While narrating his grief, Kashyap said that we husband and wife are living separately, we do not have ration card, due to which we are facing problem, we should be given ration card.
On being asked by the Chief Minister, he told that earlier we used to live in a joint family, in which mother-in-law, brother-in-law, brother-in-law and their two children, thus having a family of eight members. Now we husband and wife are living separately and are living by doing wages. Hearing their problem, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel directed the concerned officer to make a new ration card in the name of Mrs. Astala Bai and her husband Mr. Balram Kashyap. Taking quick action on the instructions of the Chief Minister, the district administration has prepared the ration card and given it to the beneficiary on the second day itself. Ward Panch of Gram Panchayat Shamtara went to the house of Mrs. Astala Bai Kashyap and handed over the ration card to her. Mrs. Astala Kashyap’s worry has been removed by getting the ration card. Now they will also get ration facility from fair price shop. On getting the new ration card, Smt. Astala Bai expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel and thanked him.
