The promising children of Bastar division of the state will now serve themselves as doctors. Special coaching has been arranged by the Government of Chhattisgarh for the meritorious children for the All India Medical Entrance Examination. Efforts to improve the talent of such children are getting good success on the initiative of Prayas Schools and District Administration.
          Hemant, who lives in Tadopal in Narayanpur district, said that he belongs to a small marginal family. Seeing the absence of a doctor in the village hospital, he decided to become a doctor himself and succeeded in his second attempt. He said that the efforts of the state government are proving very effective in improving the destiny of the residential schools by providing proper direction to the poor needy and promising students. The dreams of many promising people are getting wings due to the facility, environment and training for competitive examinations received under this scheme.
    Lupteshwar, son of teacher Lakhan Kashyap, who lives in Palligaon of Kumharrawand Gram Panchayat of Jagdalpur development block, has also filled the happiness in the entire house by getting success in NEET examination.          In the Bijapur district, under the program Chhu Lo Akash Program, run in collaboration with the district administration and NMDC, 5 children of farming families have proved their hard work and dedication by qualifying NEET, the country’s highest medical entrance examination. All these children, despite the lack of resources and being from a remote area, have become inspirations for other children by succeeding in this highest medical entrance examination. In the examination, Ajay Kalum, Suresh Madakam, Seema Bhagat, Shunu Jhad and Harish Agade have succeeded in NEET entrance examination.

    Suresh Madakam, a resident of Kottagudam under the Usur block, has passed away among the children who have qualified for the highest medical entrance examination in the country. 37 students of attempt in NEET examination got success

This year, 37 students of Prayas Residential School in Jagdalpur of the state have achieved success in NEET examination. There are 26 regular and 11 dropper batch students. It is noteworthy that the tribal development department at Dhurguda near Jagdalpur is giving free coaching to the students of Naxalite affected area for preparation of examinations like National Eligibility cum Entrance Test i.e. NEET and AIEEE for admission in prestigious institutions of engineering and medicine. . Regular classes are also conducted here from ninth to twelfth. This year, for the first time, the children were also given a chance again, who had missed the last few marks. According to the information received by the tribal development department, 26 out of 63 regular students and 11 out of 12 dropper sells have been successful this year.
