Under the Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated on the occasion of 75th year of independence, programs based on the stories of the country’s freedom fighters and bravery award winning soldiers will be organized in all the schools of Chhattisgarh. In these events organized under Veergatha Project 3.0, school children from class 3 to 12 of government and non-government schools will present various programs. 

    In Project Veergatha 3.0, topics like life lessons of bravery award winning soldiers, supreme sacrifice for the country by bravery award winning soldiers, Rani Lakshmi Bai in my dreams, first freedom struggle movement, contribution of tribals in the freedom movement etc. have been kept. . Students will give poetry, story, painting and multimedia presentation based on these topics. 

    Education Department officials said that before the presentation to all the schools, the schools have  started submitting their entries online on Mygov portal. Chhattisgarh currently ranks fourth in the country in terms of entries. 7979 entries have been made from Chhattisgarh, out of which 7638 entries have been made from government schools, 85 from private schools and 256 entries have been made from schools following CBSE curriculum. All District Education Officers and District Mission Coordinators have been directed to organize programs in all schools and enter the portal within the deadline of 15th September. Schools will submit entries on behalf of students and these entries will then be evaluated at the district, state and national levels. Winners will be selected and awarded. 

    Super 100 winners will be selected at the national level. There will be 25 winners declared in four categories (Class 3-5, 6-8, 9-10,11-12). Each winner will be given a prize money of Rs 10,000, a medal and a certificate by the Defense Ministry. The Government of India, Defense Ministry and Education Ministry will jointly award these winners. There will be 8 winners (2 winners from each category) at State, Union Territory level. Super 100 winners will not be included in this. The winners of the concerned state or union territory will be honored by the Principal Secretary or Secretary Education there. There will be 4 winners (1 winner from each category) at the district level. Super 100 and state and union territory winners will not be included in it. The students will be jointly honored by the District Commissioner, District Magistrate, District Deputy Commissioner and District Education Officers. 

    All the district nodal officers have been directed by the State Project Office Samagra Shiksha that the schools should upload the four best entries on Mygov by September 15. All schools should compulsorily upload the number of students appearing in each category on this portal. After this, district level evaluation of the entries should be done by the district nodal officers as per the heading given under the concept note by 17th October.

    The best entries should be sent to the state nodal officers through the portal by the District Nodal Officer. The entries received from the District Nodal Officers should be evaluated by the State Nodal Officer from October 19 to November 10 and the best entries should be forwarded to the Ministry of Education (MOE) through the portal. National level entries will be evaluated by the National Level Committee constituted by the Ministry of Education from 10 November to 10 December. The results will be sent to the Ministry of Education by December 15 by the National Level Committee. The results will be forwarded by the Education Ministry to the Ministry of Defense (MoD) by December 20.
