    Raipur, 12 June 2021. Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Dr. Alok Shukla inspected Swami Atmanand Sheikh Ghaffar Excellent English Medium School located at Tarbahar in Bilaspur district today. He discussed and reviewed the progress and action plan for the selection of teachers in the proposed schools with the principals and teachers.
    Principal Secretary Dr. Shukla reviewed the resources available in the school, laboratory, library, computer room, sports room, scout guide, interactive smart class etc. He appreciated the excellent infrastructure and stainless steel laboratory rake developed in the school. After discussing with the teachers, got information about online classes. He said that there is a possibility of regular conduct of classes once the situation of corona infection becomes normal, for which he should make necessary preparations.
    It is to be known that Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School is the flagship scheme of Chhattisgarh Government, under which all facilities education system has been implemented from class 1st to 12th. 52 schools are being established in the first phase and 119 schools in the second phase and the process of admission is going on. At present, the process of testing the applications received online is going on. According to the announcement of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, children whose mother or father or both have died suddenly due to corona will be given admission as per the Mahtari Dular Yojana. 50% admission will be given to the girls and 25 percent to the economically weaker sections on the basis of the prescribed certificate.
    During the inspection by Dr. Shukla, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, Joint Director Education Mr. RS Chauhan, District Education Officer, Assistant Director, Nodal Officer of Bilaspur district, Mr. Sandeep Chopra and Principal of the institution, Ms. Usha Chandra were present.
