Raipur: Press Club building to be built in Pandra in the name of Pandit Madhavrao Sapre, statue will also be established: Shri Bhupesh Baghel: Chief Minister meets various social organizations

Met with representatives of various societies, sanctioned funds for buildings, order of land allotment

Raipur, 6 January 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that a statue of Pandit Madhavrao Sapre, who is the pioneer of journalism in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, will be installed in the pandra and a press facility will be constructed in his name here. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who was on a stay in Gorela-Pandra-Marwahi district, announced this while discussing with a delegation of journalists today. He also sanctioned an amount of Rs 50 lakh for the Press Club building. He said that this press club building will be equipped with library and other modern facilities. It is to be known that Pendra has been the work place of Pandit Madhavrao Sapre and it was from here that the publication of the first newspaper of undivided Madhya Pradesh ‘Chhattisgarh Mitra’ started.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel met representatives of several social organizations in the village Panchayat Danikundi, in the diversified facility cum value addition center complex built by the forest department and heard their demands and problems. He also sanctioned funds for social buildings to various societies. During this, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charan Das Mahant, Minister in-charge of the district Mr. Jai Singh Agrawal, MP Mrs. Jyotsna Mahant and many public representatives and officials were present. The Chief Minister inspected the various facilities cum value addition centers and inquired about the various products being manufactured by the women’s groups there.

 

Representatives of the Gond society demanded a hostel from Mr. Baghel. The Chief Minister gave immediate approval for 50-50 seater boys and girls hostels. Three lakhs for social building in Marwahi for Kalar society, Rs 20 lakh for social building in Sonmuda for Oraon society, Rs 10 lakh for Agrawal society and Rs 20 lakh for building Christian building, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel Has given Gond Samaj, Satnami Samaj, Rathore Samaj, Kesharwani Samaj, Panika Samaj and other society heads also demanded a place and grant for their social building. The Chief Minister deposited the prescribed amount for the land and asked to apply before the Collector and after the allotment of land, he assured to sanction the amount. The representatives of the Mehra society said that they were facing problems in getting caste certificates. The matter is pending in this regard in the High Court, but our side is not being presented by the government. The Chief Minister assured that he will give necessary instructions in this regard to the Advocate General.
Representatives of the Brahmin society are being told their rights by Amarkantak in Jaleshwar by Madhya Pradesh while it is a part of Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister assured to take initiative to end this dispute. He said that Kabir Chabutra, Rajmergarh etc. places of Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi district will not only be kept safe but they will also be developed. The representatives of the Nayak community demanded the restoration of a dam built during the British era, in which the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel asked to send a proposal through the irrigation department. Representatives of the cow rearing Gujar society demanded cows of good breed. The Chief Minister directed the officials of Veterinary Department in this regard.
Bilasa Bai Canteen No Penis
Representatives of the Kentwat society met the Chief Minister and thanked him for naming the Chakarbhatha Airport after Bilasa Bai Canteen. Chief Minister Baghel congratulated him and said that Bilasa Bai should not be called a canteen, it should be called a cantonment. His name was Bilasa Bai Kenwat.
