Preparations have been started to make Balodabazar district a skill hub, under which a rural self-employment training institute will soon be started in the district. In this regard, the work of ITI, Polytechnic, Livelihood, VTP and Skill Training Provider Agencies related to the Technical Education Department was reviewed in the auditorium of the Joint District Office of Balodabazar, in which it has been said to give skill training to people in accordance with the market, emphasizing on modernity by moving away from traditional trades.
Collector Shri Deepak Soni has directed the Director of Skill Development to prepare an integrated detailed action plan for this and submit it within 7 days. Along with this, instructions have been given to SBI to start Rural Self Employment Institute i.e. Rural Self Employment Training Institute in the district headquarters from the month of July. Through which the progress of the project will also accelerate.
 Collector Mr. Soni has said that there is a need to work with the objective of linking the youth of the district with skill development so that they get 100% employment or can start their own business. During this, information was obtained about skill development conducted through CSR by various industries established in the district.
