The enthusiasm of the traditional Teeja-Pora festival of Chhattisgarh, which lasted for three days, is now visible in full swing. The markets are in full swing and Tijharin sisters, farmer brothers and common people are busy in preparations to celebrate this festival with full enthusiasm. On the occasion of Teeja-Pora festival, like last year, this year also a grand festival will be organized on 27th August at the Chief Minister’s residence from 10.00 am. For this, preparations are going on in full swing here.
The courtyard of the Chief Minister’s residence is being decorated in a typical traditional style. The whole atmosphere here is colorful as per the festival and showing glimpse of our Chhattisgarhi culture. Many Nandi bulls are seen adorning the place in this courtyard, giving a feeling of prosperity and happiness. With the beautiful workmanship of colors on Supa and Token, they have been decorated in a very unique style from place to place. Colorful pylons and traditional artwork are adding to the beauty of the place in keeping with the theme of the festival.
The atmosphere of the Chief Minister’s residence looks typical of Chhattisgarhia Teeja-Pora. Chief Minister of the state, Shri Bhupesh Baghel has appealed to the mothers and sisters to participate in this festival and enhance the beauty of the Chief Minister’s residence. Women journalists have also been specially invited to the festival. Tijrahin mother and sisters should come here considering the Chief Minister’s residence as their maternal home, they are welcome.
