Raipur, 22 February 2022. Chief Minister’s appeal to farmers for hay donation has started yielding positive results. Farmers have so far donated 15 lakh 67 thousand 507 quintals of hay worth nearly Rs 31 crore 35 lakh in Gauthans as fodder for the cattle there.
According to the information received from the officials, maximum number of donations were made by the farmers of Bilaspur division, as on February 15th. In Bilaspur Division, farmers have donated nearly 6 lakh 10 thousand 765 quintals of hay, whereas the farmers of Durg Division have donated 3 lakh 80 thousand 361 quintals of hay, and those of Raipur Division have donated 3 lakh 69 thousand 600 quintals. Likewise, 1 lakh 31 thousand 994 quintals of hay has been donated by the farmers of Bastar division and 74 thousand 787 quintals has been donated by the farmers of Sarguja division.
