Raipur, 21 October 2020. Police soldiers have bravely faced every challenge even in adverse circumstances by sacrificing their lives. Today is a reminder of the valor stories of those brave soldiers who sacrificed everything to protect the motherland. On this occasion, I bow to those brave sons. This was stated by Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike. He is the fourth duct CAF today. It was believed that the police were giving their address in the program organized on the occasion of Memorial Day in the courtyard of Raipur. He said that the sentence of the police is Paritranayya Sadhunam, this sentence of Geeta has proved worthwhile by the brave soldiers of the police. I salute the parents and their families who give birth to such brave sons. On this occasion, Governor Ms. Uike,

Governor Ms. Uike said- Police personnel have secured us by sacrificing their lives. In our homes, we are able to sleep peacefully as our police wake up overnight and patrol. I saw in the Kovid period that despite the awe environment of Corona virus, our police personnel were stationed at the front. Seeing the passion of his work, he talked on the phone, encouraged him. Some jawan corona also got infected while on duty and due to this disease some jawans sacrificed their lives, but their spirits were not broken and they continued to discharge their duties.
Ms. Uike said- Our state is struggling with Naxalite problem. Our soldiers deployed in these areas face the Naxalites with great understanding and courage. In fact, apart from awakening the development of those areas, they also work to connect the wandering people in the mainstream. Due to all these efforts, awareness has been brought in the Naxalite affected areas of the state and I hope that our state will be free from Naxal problem soon. Many public welfare schemes and programs are being run by the government so that the light of development can reach there and they can connect with the mainstream of the country.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that the soldiers posted in the police or various security forces are dedicated to protecting the public and the country, regardless of their own lives. It is his passion that ensures his respect in the society. Therefore their work is different and more prestigious than other employment opportunities. On the occasion of Police Memorial Day, I express my sympathy to the soldiers posted in all the security forces, gratitude to the martyrs and condolences to their families. He said that while this is an occasion to be proud of the supreme sacrifice of sacrificing his life for the service of the country, it is also to be emotional in remembrance of being separated from his brave companions. In fact, the martyrdom that occurs while discharging risky duties is an indelible and supreme contribution of an individual to the wider society. Respect for this contribution,
The Chief Minister said that in Chhattisgarh too, the sacrifice, dedication and martyrdom of CRPF or other security forces personnel in Naxalite affected areas is no less. While giving utmost importance to the work of the security forces, our government has taken steps of relief and welfare for them with the highest priority but I believe that it is not possible to properly discharge the duty of brave soldiers without the wider participation of society.

While paying homage to the immortal martyrs, Shri Sahu said that the Government of Chhattisgarh stands with you and is always ready to help you. He said that the chapter of encounter on 21 October 1959 with the Chinese army in Ladakh is recorded in golden letters in the history of valor and valor of the security forces. Police Commemoration Day is observed on 21 October every year to commemorate the martyrdom of the brave soldiers of the security forces in that encounter. Naxals are affected in the Vananchal district of Chhattisgarh state. Our soldiers deployed in Naxal-affected areas face the Naxalites with utmost understanding and courage in protecting the public for 24 hours. Recently, affected by the rehabilitation policy of the Government of Chhattisgarh, the Maoists are continuously surrendering. As a result, Naxalite incidence has decreased by 47 percent.

Director General of Police Shri DM Awasthi said that Naxalism is spread in many parts of the country, in which a large part of the state of Chhattisgarh is also affected. The Maoist is active against humanity and democratic values. The Chhattisgarh Police is committed to eradicate the Naxalite problem. Our jawans are always facing this challenge with fearlessness, indomitable courage and patience, under severe conditions, and in the state from 01 September 2019 to 31 August 2020, police personnel have killed 47 Naxals in a Naxalite encounter. In this decisive battle, 25 soldiers of Chhattisgarh Police have received gallantry in the last one year. We are confident that the sacrifice of brave soldiers will not go in vain. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of Home and Jail Department Mr. Subrata Sahu and senior officers of police, martyred jawans were present.
