Courtesy visit of probationary police officers

Seven Probationary Officers of the Indian Police Service, led by Director of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose State Police Academy, Chandkhuri, Raipur, Shri Ratanlal Dangi met and greeted Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan at Raj Bhavan here today.
Governor Shri Harichandan wished the Probationary Officers for their bright future and said that Lord Jagannath blesses you. He asked the officers to serve the country and the society by performing their duties well. He said that the police should behave friendly with the general public. The police should regularly meet the people belonging to the deprived sections, general public, students, etc. and know their problems.
Governor Mr. Harichandan said that as a police officer, your behavior should be such that people can fearlessly come to you for the solution of their problems for the purpose of getting justice and take a just decision by removing their problems. By acting harshly towards the guilty and sensitively towards the innocent, people’s faith in the police system will be further strengthened.
