The Governor appreciated the work being done by the Agrawal community.

Raipur, 01 July 2020. The delegation of Agarwal Samaj led by the Governor, Shri Ashok Agarwal, the Chhattisgarh Provincial Agrawal Organization, met courtesy the Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike today at Raj Bhavan here. The governor said that one who has positive thinking does good work. Generations remember the person who performs welfare work. Agarwal society has been doing many good works in the country and the state for many years, due to which many people have been benefited. I thank the Agrawal community for this. On this occasion, the Governor released a poster containing the nameplate with pictures of prominent figures of the society. The Governor said that with such a name plate, children will get information about the great men of the nation and they will get inspiration of patriotism.
Shri Aggarwal informed that many works of social service are being done in Chhattisgarh by the society. During the lockdown, dry rations and masks were distributed by them to about 36 thousand people. The society provides free medical aid to the poor through the Mohalla Clinic. Also, all medical tests are being made available at minimum rates. He informed that schools and hostels are also being run by the society for better education for the poor students. The Agrawal community thanked Governor Ms. Uike by wearing a shawl-shriphal, Maharaja Agrasen’s scarf and garland and presented a picture of Lord Shri Agrasen and Mother Madhavi. On this occasion, the legal advisor to the Governor, Shri R.K. Aggarwal, President of All India Agarwal Samaj, Mr. Siyaram Agarwal, Provincial President Mr. Ramdas Agarwal, Principal Advisor Mr. Chaturbhuj Agarwal, Treasurer Mr. Sunil Aggarwal were present.
