Ayurveda, Panchakarma and Naturopathy are the ancient medical methods of India, to make people aware about its benefits and importance, a training camp is being organized by Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission in capital Raipur. In this training camp, Ayurveda, Panchakarma and Naturopathy, along with demonstration and treatment, counseling is also being given to the patients. About 100 people are taking advantage of these medical methods every day. Here, under the guidance of Dr. Dinesh Kumar Nag, a team of 15 experts in Yoga, Panchakarma, Paramedical are providing services.
Dr. Nag told that the body is made up of five elements soil, water, air, fire and sky. Diseases arise due to the imbalance of these elements, natural medicine is the only method to make it balanced. It is a drug-free method of treatment, in which yoga and diet are of special importance. In naturopathy, diet is also considered as medicine. Patients are also being advised what they should take in food and which yogasanas they should do according to their disease. Along with this, people are also being treated through Ayurveda, Panchakarma method.
Dr. Nag told that in Ayurveda, according to the imbalance of Vata, Pitta, Kapha, treatment is done after knowing the cause of the disease. In this method, treatment is done through Vaman Karma, Virechana, Vasti Chikitsa, Nasya Karma and Rakta Mokshan. Information is being given to the patients coming to the camp by demonstrating counseling and activities as per their requirement. This has increased people’s faith in treatment and has brought awareness. Mr. Manohar Sahu of Raipur told that he had a strain in his calf while doing yoga. Due to this he was having trouble walking with the pain. He got a lot of relief within a day from the medical treatment in the camp. He is completely satisfied with the treatment.
