Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has said that a vision document is being prepared with everyone’s participation to make Chhattisgarh a developed country. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has pledged to make India a developed country by the year 2047. To fulfil this, we will build a developed Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister was addressing the More Sapna More Vikasit Chhattisgarh state level dialogue programme organised by the State Policy Commission to prepare Chhattisgarh Vision 2047 at the New Circuit House here today. Youths, farmers, women and intellectuals of the state shared their views in this programme. The programme was presided over by Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has become the fifth largest economy of the world in the last 10 years. The Prime Minister has called for making India the third largest economy of the world in the next five years. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh will also make an important contribution in fulfilling this objective. Chhattisgarh is a prosperous state with abundant natural resources, forest wealth and human resources. The land here is fertile, there are hardworking farmers. By adding value to the resources here, we can build a developed Chhattisgarh. Everyone’s cooperation will be necessary in this. Chhattisgarh is a young state, we have implemented a new education policy, in which emphasis has been laid on vocation training. The Chief Minister said that our government is bringing reforms in every field with everyone’s cooperation. Continuous steps are being taken to bring transparency in government work as well. Our government’s policy is of zero tolerance towards corruption. The Chief Minister said that youth, farmers, women and intellectuals shared important ideas for the creation of a developed Chhattisgarh.

The Chief Minister said that we have set a target to dedicate the vision document of Chhattisgarh and the new industry policy to the general public on the State Foundation Day on 01 November 2024. He said that in this program, very important discussions have taken place about organic farming in the field of agriculture. The youth have also put forward their better vision about the coming future. Nari Shakti is present in large numbers in the program, special thanks to them for coming here. The Chief Minister said, I myself am a farmer’s son, I am also very interested in agriculture, whenever I go to the village, I definitely spend time in my farm.

In the program, in a discussion with the youth, farmers, women and intellectuals of Chhattisgarh on developed India and developed Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Shri Sai, while answering the question about Drone Didi, said that training has been arranged under the Drone Didi scheme in the Technical University in Bhilai. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has called for making 3 crore Lakhpati Didis, in which Drone Didi will also make an important contribution. Praising Padma Shri Jageshwar Yadav, the Chief Minister said that Jageshwar ji is not educated, he does not know how to ride a bicycle, he manages his work wearing half pants and without slippers, but today he has dedicated his life to the service of the Korwa-Birhor community, I congratulate him.

Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary said that the suggestions received in the program will be compiled by NITI Aayog. He said that there are immense possibilities in tourism and service sector in the state. At present, the number of cancer patients is increasing due to the use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture. We have to promote organic farming. Participation of youth in agriculture will also have to be increased. He said that there is a need to consider bringing together the land of farmers for progressive farming. Attention will have to be paid to land labeling, fencing and availability of water for irrigation etc. for horticultural crops. He said that agro tourism can also be promoted. Skill development will also have to be increased in making Chhattisgarh developed. Chief Secretary and Vice Chairman State NITI Aayog Shri Amitabh Jain and Secretary of Planning Department Shri Ankit Anand also addressed the program.

About 200 participants attended the dialogue program. Wood craftsman and Padma Shri awardee Ajay Mandavi and Padma Shri Jageshwar Yadav, women farmer Udeshwari from Kondagaon, Shubham Dixit, Simran, Ankit Jain, Shatabdi Pandey, Sudha Verma and many others gave suggestions. On this occasion, Chief Minister’s Advisor Shri Dhirendra Tiwari, State Policy Commission member Shri K. Subramanyam, Secretary Shri Anoop Shrivastava, Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri Rahul Bhagat were also present.
