Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended the swearing-in ceremony of Leather Craftsmen Development Board at Chief Minister’s residence today. The Chief Minister congratulated and congratulated the newly appointed Chairman of the Board, Tarun Bijor and members Mr. Khilwan Baghel, Mrs. Sarojini Ratre, and Mr. Tulsi Daudiya for their new responsibilities. Mr. Baghel said that I hope that the chairman of the board will participate in the progress of the state with full dedication to the responsibility given to all the members. Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, State Scheduled Caste President Mr. KP Khande and Vice President Mrs. Padma Manhar were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that leather has been important since the beginning of human civilization. Earlier they used to wear slippers made of leather. Gradually, the race for development affected the leather business, the use of leather decreased. Other materials were also used in the manufacture of shoes and slippers.  
The Chief Minister said that after the formation of our government, we did the work of preserving traditional businesses, we made Gothans. He said that in order to get a good response in the modern market for the products made from traditional business, for this, arrangement for good packaging of the products was made branding and Sea Mart was arranged in the cities for their sale. Along with this, Rural Industrial Park has been established. A budget provision of Rs 600 crore has been made for its development. With this, along with the development of our traditional businesses, there will also be opportunities to do other business
