The Muktibodh Parivar and Sahitya Akademi, Chhattisgarh have organized a memorial lecture on the 58th death anniversary of India’s epoch-making litterateur Gajanan Madhav Muktibodh on Sunday, 11 September. The program will be held in the auditorium of Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum from 11 am.
According to the information received from Mr. Ishwar Singh Dost, President, Sahitya Akademi, Chhattisgarh, in the program, young critic and Professor of Hindi in Delhi University, Mr. Vinod Tiwari will deliver a lecture on the topic “Muktibodh: Life-conscience of literature”. Vinod Tiwari is also the editor of Pakshadhar, a well-known magazine of Hindi literature. The program will be presided over by the famous critic and thinker of Hindi, Shri Jayaprakash. Before the speech, young singers and musicians Vasu Gandharva and Ajulka Saxena will recite the poems of Muktibodh.
