Increase in honorarium from minimum Rs 6 thousand 300 to maximum Rs 6 thousand 420

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel had announced to increase the honorarium in the Vidhansabha according to the rank of Chhattisgarh’s Home Guard jawans in the trust budget 2023-24. An order has also been issued in this regard by the Home Ministry of Chhattisgarh Government. According to the rank, the honorarium of Home Guard has been increased from the minimum amount of Rs.6 thousand 300 to the maximum amount of Rs.6 thousand 420 per month. This increase will be applicable on the honorarium received from 1 April 2023.
The honorarium of the soldiers serving in the Home Guard Department was earlier 13 thousand 200/- per month, in which an amount of 19 thousand 500/- will be given with an increase of 6 thousand 300/-. Similarly, the honorarium of Lance Naik has been increased from Rs 13 thousand 350 to Rs 19 thousand 665 with an increase of Rs 6 thousand 315; Rs 19 thousand 995 with an increase of Rs 6 thousand 345, Company Havildar Major’s honorarium Rs 13 thousand 800 with an increase of Rs 6 thousand 360 Rs 20 thousand 160, Company Quarter Master’s honorarium Rs 13 thousand 800 Rs 20 thousand 175 with an increase of Rs 375, volunteer platoon commander’s honorarium Rs 14 thousand 250 with an increase of Rs 6 thousand 390 to Rs 20 thousand 640,
