Works approved for every ward, road and drain construction will happen fast

On the special initiative of Commerce Industry and Labor Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan, Korba city has received the gift of various development works worth Rs 7 crore for 73 development works. Giving priority to the needs of each ward, approval has been given for road and drain construction. On the recommendation of Minister Shri Devangan, the Urban Administration and Development has issued approval of funds to Municipal Corporation Korba under the infrastructure item in the financial year 2024-25.
After becoming the minister, Shri Devangan has started working on the development works announced in the wards by getting them approved on mission mode. Minister Shri Devangan has already started the work by getting approval of Rs. 5 lakh each from DMF fund for the wards. Minister Shri Devangan had also requested Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao for approval of works worth Rs. 7 crore for all the wards of the corporation area. Chief Minister Shri Sai immediately approved it. In this regard, an order has also been issued by the Urban Administration Department on September 12. According to the order issued, approval of Rs. 7 crore has been given for a total of 73 works.

In ward number 58 Imlichhappar, construction of CC road and drain for Rs. 10 lakhs, in ward number 57 Anandnagar, construction of CC road and drain for Rs. 10 lakhs, in ward number 55 Balgi for culvert for Rs. 10 lakhs, in ward number 49 Shakti Nagar for Rs. 10 lakhs, construction of children’s park in ward number 43 Irrigation Colony for Rs. 10 lakhs, in ward number 41 Parsabhata, construction of RCC covered drain and CC road for Rs. 10 lakhs has been approved.
Ward blueprint is ready with Minister Shri Devangan, road and drain construction is a priority
Minister Shri Devangan has prepared a blueprint of development works for all the wards of Korba Municipal Corporation area. Works are being approved keeping in view which works are most needed in the wards. In view of the greater problems of the people, priority is being given to the construction of CC roads, drains, culverts. Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw for the approval of development works, Industry Minister Shri Devangan said that development works are being started at a fast pace in every ward of Korba city without any discrimination.
