Raipur: On the request of the farmer and the artist who made the idol, the Chief Minister said – Permission has been given to sell statues up to four feet for the Ganesh festival.

Raipur, 20 July 2020. On the occasion of the inauguration of the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, Shri Krishna Kumar Chakradhari, a farmer who visited the Chief Minister’s residence, presented the idol of Lord Ganesha to the Chief Minister. Shri Chakradhari told the Chief Minister that his family also made and sold Ganesha idol. He has made 36 sculptures for the Ganesh festival, there remains a dilemma over selling the idols due to Corona infection. He requested the Chief Minister to be allowed to sell idols of God for the Ganesh festival. The Chief Minister informed him that permission has been given to sell the statues up to four feet.
