Today became a very special day for the newly appointed teachers of Surguja and Bastar. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel presented appointment letters to the newly appointed teachers. Appointment letters were handed over to 1318 teachers. These teachers, filled with joy, greeted Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel by waving the appointment letters. The Chief Minister told them that the school is a temple of learning. They cannot be kept dilapidated. We prepared a plan for renovation of dilapidated schools through Mukhyamantri School Jatan Yojana of Rs 2100 crore. Today he is inaugurating the construction work of 7 thousand 688 schools and 464 additional rooms in them. The schools from where you will start your teaching. they are very beautiful. They have been painted with cow dung paint made in Chhattisgarh itself. All of you shape the future of your children in these beautiful, convenient schools.

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that we had come with the resolution of Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh. The financial condition of the farmers was bad. Better prices for forest produce were not available. There were no facilities for treatment. School buildings were demolished in Naxal affected area in Bastar. When we started the recruitment of Bastar fighter, eligible youths with educational qualification were not available for this. Our education has been the topmost priority behind the massive renovation of schools that has taken place today.

He told the newly appointed teachers that you are nation builders. Show direction to the society. Teachers did a very good job in Corona. Got online education done. The loss of education due to Corona was the lowest in our state. All of you will be entitled to old pension. We have secured your future also. You should contribute fully in shaping the future of the children of Chhattisgarh. Earlier the English school was not run by the government. Now it is run by the government. Studying here is good. Therefore there is a lot of demand for admission.

During his address, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel narrated a memoir of Dhanora village of Keshkal. He said that during the meeting, a girl told me – make our school also good, I said of course. We will do good to all the schools. Following this sentiment, we gave Rs 2100 crore for the betterment of schools. These are our temples of knowledge. These should not remain dilapidated. He said that the schools where you will go to teach. Their schools are beautiful. They have been painted with cow dung paint made here. All of you should shape the future of the children here.
During the program, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel also discussed with division-wise parents through video conferencing. Hariram Rathia from Lailunga told that our school was not good earlier. Now it has become great. The Chief Minister said that now the school has become better. Now keep maintaining. The parent committee should keep paying attention to this. The Chief Minister also asked about the status of studies. Nitin, a teacher posted in Lohandiguda of Bastar, told that our school was in a very dilapidated condition. Now it is good, the extra room has also been made. The Chief Minister congratulated him on Teacher’s Day and also extended his best wishes.

School Education Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey said in his address that under the Mukhyamantri School Jatan Yojana, repair and rejuvenation work is being done in more than 8000 schools at a cost of Rs 2100 crore. Today 1300 teachers got appointment letters. Most of these are youth from rural areas, I congratulate them.

Dr. Alok Shukla, Principal Secretary, School Education Department, while presenting his report in the program, said that earlier we had very less amount for the maintenance of school buildings. But now with good amount of money, not only the arrangements in the school are improving but also a good study-teaching environment has been created for both teachers and students. On this occasion, School Education Secretary Shri S. Bharathidasan, DPI Shri Sunil Jain and other officers were present.
