Raipur: On the instructions of the Minister of Women and Child Development, Mrs. Anila Bhendia, the setting up of a child help desk for the quick assistance of the needy children

Raipur, 20 May 2021. A Child Help Desk has been set up on the instructions of the Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Anila Bhendia, for quick help and counseling of the needy children of the state. Mrs. Bhendia has held a virtual meeting of state level and district level officials and directed from time to time to prevent and prevent corona infection. As a result, officers and employees working in child care institutions have been trained to prevent infection of Kovid-19.
Departmental officials said that as per the instructions of Minister Smt. Bhendia, a Child Help Desk has been established in collaboration with UNICEF for quick help and counseling of the needy children of the state. Support will be available from 8 am to 11 pm on Child Helpline number 1800-572-3969. Counseling is being done through subject matter experts for mentally disturbed and needy children affected by Kovid-19 and their parents.
Assistance is being provided to Child Help Desk as well as WhatsApp number 93014-50180 and special email ID [email protected]. Assistance is also being provided through child line 1098 and women help line 181. Any needy child, foster, relative, common citizen can help the needy children by contacting child help line 1800-575-3969, child line 1098, women help line 181. Children, whose parents have died due to Kavid-19 infection and children whose parents have been infected with Kovid-19, have been identified Child Care Institutions-Fit Facility in each district for better treatment and their complete care, Which is accessible for the care of children.
Officials said that officers, staff, consultants working in child care institutions are being sensitized through the dialogue program of NIMHANS so that children can be effectively looked after. All protocols are being followed in child care institutions operated in the state to protect children from infection of Kovid-19. All the child care institutions have complete arrangement of thermometer, oximeter, mask, sanitizer etc. Information about the contact number and helpline of the members of the District Child Protection Committee has been given in each hospital so that children can be provided immediate assistance.
