Giving the message of protection from malaria and diarrhea through rallies in villages

On the instructions of Bilaspur Collector Shri Avnish Sharan, school children have taken charge of public awareness. They are spreading the message of prevention from malaria and diarrhea by taking out rallies in villages. School children are being made aware during prayer time in various villages of Kota block. Children are also making villagers aware through rallies. Under the Swachhata Abhiyan, children are being made aware about prevention and protection from diarrhea through speeches and presentations in school.
In this series, a workshop on malaria prevention was organized in Mazgaon School. In this workshop, students were given detailed information about the symptoms of malaria and its prevention. Chandradeep Jaiswal and Kumari Krisha from class 12th and Nitesh Yadav and Hina Dhruv from class 11th expressed their views from the students’ side. On this occasion, the main speaker, biology lecturer Mr. Shobharam Palke gave detailed information on malaria prevention. Under this, preventive measures were told such as sleeping with mosquito net, spraying DDT, using anti-malaria cream, cleaning the surroundings, disposal of stagnant water, cleaning the cooler, getting blood test done in case of fever and consulting a doctor in the nearest hospital etc.
