According to the intention of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, every possible initiative is being taken by the government and administration in the state to take the benefits of the schemes of the government to the last mile. In this connection, Collector of South Bastar (Dantewada) district, Mr. Deepak Soni and Superintendent of Police, Mr. Siddharth Tiwari reached village Nahari, a very sensitive area of Kuakonda development block today. There he interacted with the villagers and solved the problems of the villagers.
In village Nahari, the villagers expressed their happiness to find the collector and the superintendent of police among them. A large number of villagers gathered in Jandarshan Chaupal. During this, Collector Mr. Soni informed that works of two additional rooms, Anganwadi centre, drinking water, electricity, road, health center have been approved in the primary school in Nahari village. To connect the unemployed with employment, arrangements are being made for ration, agricultural machines, salons, public service centers etc. Goat, chicken, pig, quail will be distributed to the beneficiaries interested in self-employment. The collector said that it is the aim of the government to take the schemes of the government to the last village of the area, to provide their benefits to the villagers. The Collector said that in the coming days many development works will be done in Nahari. Along with this, the administration is trying to get the benefits of every scheme of the government to the villagers.
While apprising the villagers in Nahari, he said that many works have been approved here under MNREGA. Along with this, while telling about the approved works, information was also taken regarding their progress. He met the villagers and inquired about the basic facilities being provided by the government. He asked the villagers about their agricultural work and taking information about Kodo, Kutki and Ragi, he said that it is being purchased at support price in the district. The Collector, while discussing with the villagers about Aadhar card, ration card, motivated them to take advantage of the camp being organized by the district administration and in view of the increasing infection of Corona, advised them to work by following the Kovid rules.
The villagers, seeing the collector among them, demanded many development works. Taking quick redressal on the demand of the villagers, instructions were given to the Gram Panchayat to fix the water tank at the site itself. As soon as the camp started, the road construction work started in Nahari area, expressing happiness, the villagers thanked the district administration. Mr. Soni informed that the camp has started here, where villagers will be linked with employment. Many works are being done to connect the lower class families with self-employment. To make the people of Nahari village work as a group, he talked about giving grant money under the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Yojana. Apprised the villagers that works worth 9 crores have been approved in 6 panchayats around Aranpur. With the formation of a ration shop, now the facility of distribution of ration will be available in the village panchayat itself. Earlier the villagers had to go to Aranpur Panchayat 10 km away to get ration.
