 Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday detailed various schemes being run under the Urban Administration and Development Department through video conferencing at the Chief Minister’s residence office. On this occasion, Mr. Baghel launched the Mukhya Mantri Mitan Yojana in all the municipalities, after which the beneficiaries will now get the facility of 25 services including labor cards in Mitan Yojana sitting at home. Till now the citizens of Municipal Corporation area were getting the facility of Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana. The Chief Minister also inaugurated Urban Industrial Park (UIPA) in urban areas of the state so that better employment opportunities can be made available to startup entrepreneurs, self-help groups in urban areas as well. Along with this, the Chief Minister flagged off the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) under the Slum Health Scheme. It is noteworthy that the MMU, popularly known as the blue car, is very popular among the citizens.  

Mitan Scheme

Chief Minister handed over one lakhth certificate of Mitan Yojana – Under the Chief Minister Mitan Yojana, 99 thousand 999 certificates have been delivered to the homes so far. On Saturday, the Chief Minister handed over one lakh certificate of Mitan scheme to the beneficiaries Ms. Sheetal Sohle, Ms. Ankita Sohle, Ms. Isha Sohle, Mr. Surya Sohle, Mr. Shashank Sohle. The Sohle family had approached Mitan for the ration card, the Chief Minister himself presented the ration card to the Sohle family. Similarly, Aadhaar card was given to Ms. Ritu Sharma, Ms. Aaradhya Sharma and Ms. Ananya Pandey and PAN card certificate to Dr. Neha Bhalla.

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that now with the aim of providing better employment opportunities to startup entrepreneurs and self-help groups in urban areas, we are going to start Urban Industrial Park on the lines of Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park. . Its virtual foundation stone has been laid today. Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana was launched to strengthen service delivery and provide certificates to citizens sitting at home. In the Municipal Corporation areas of Chhattisgarh, citizens are getting various government documents sitting at home through Mitan. I hope that this innovative effort will create new employment opportunities in our cities, Along with this, the urban economy will get a new momentum. In the Municipal Corporation areas of Chhattisgarh, citizens are getting various government documents sitting at home through Mitan. From today onwards, under the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, a total of 25 services, including labor card services, will be available in all the municipal councils of the state through Mitan, expanding home delivery. Under the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, the 01 lakhth beneficiary has been given a certificate here today. The number of citizens who have benefited from this scheme in a short span of time is quite encouraging.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that our Chhattisgarh is famous all over the country due to its beautiful culture and strong agriculture-based economy. During the last four and a half years, it has been our endeavor to strengthen the rural economy as well as the urban economy of the state. Taking steps in this direction, we mobilized additional financial resources for the development of urban infrastructure and implemented such schemes which would benefit the last person of the society.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that to strengthen the urban health system, we have started the Chief Minister Slum Health Scheme and Shri Dhanwantri Generic Medical Stores Scheme. Pipe lines have been expanded to ensure that every household has access to clean drinking water. Chhattisgarh has been awarded by the Central Government for three consecutive years for its excellent work in the matter of cleanliness. An amount of Rs 02 crore per industrial park is being provided by the state government to the concerned bodies.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that along with the newly formed districts, the public representatives of various districts were demanding mobile medical units. In view of these demands, symbolic inauguration of 30 MMUs included in the third phase of Chief Minister Slum Health Scheme is being done today. So far 51 lakh beneficiaries have been benefited under the Chief Minister’s Slum Health Scheme. These figures in themselves tell the story of the success of this scheme.

In the programme, Urban Administration Minister Shri Shiv Kumar Dahria said that facilities are being increased for citizens in urban areas. Along with this, employment for urban people will also increase with the launch of Urban Industrial Park. On this occasion, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, Special Secretary, Urban Administration Department Dr. Ayyaz Fakirbhai Tamboli, Director Urban Administration Dr. Saransh Mitter, CEO of SUDA Mr. Saumil Ranjan Choubey, Additional CEO Mr. Ashish Tikriha and virtually Officers and beneficiaries from different districts were present.
