Instructions given to tighten administrative work

Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade took the first review meeting today in the Collectorate office meeting room of her charge district Sakti. Taking detailed information about the implementation of government schemes, he instructed the officers to tighten the administrative work.
While reviewing the Women and Child Development Department, Mrs. Rajwade instructed the officials to regularly inspect the distribution of nutritious food and ensure that proper nutritious food is provided to children and pregnant mothers. She said that she will conduct surprise inspection of Anganwadi centres, if any negligence is found, strict action will be taken against the concerned officers and employees.
Mrs. Rajwade gave instructions to improve the revenue works and ensure the arrangement of teachers according to the number of children in the schools. Taking information about the construction work under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, he said that after conducting survey and inspection at the ground level, the needy people should be given priority and the work of house construction should be done by them. While reviewing the works of Jal Jeevan Mission, he gave instructions to ensure proper arrangement of drinking water in rural areas. He directed to repair faulty hand pumps and take necessary action in case of non-availability of water supply in rural areas. District level officers including public representatives were present in the meeting.
