Raipur, 11 September 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today met office bearers and members of Chhattisgarh Film Producers Association at his residence office. The Producers Association thanked him for granting permission for the formulation of Chhattisgarh Film Policy-2021 in the cabinet meeting held on 8th September under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. Chhattisgarh Film Producers Association said that with this Chhattisgarh state will emerge as a film production hub. The Film Producers Association has given to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for the provision of giving incentive grant to the National Award winning film made in Chhattisgarh and one crore rupees as incentive grant to the National Award winning film ‘Bhulan the Maze’. To develop Chhattisgarh as a central hub for film shooting and to provide opportunities to local artists, as well as to give national and international recognition to the natural and cultural places of the state through films. The Chief Minister said that the art and culture of Chhattisgarh is rich. There is no dearth of talented artists here. Local artists will be encouraged through the film policy. He said that modern and expensive equipments are needed for film production. Film makers will also be provided loan facility for equipments. The Chief Minister said that in the new industrial policy 2019-24 of the state of Chhattisgarh, many concessions have been given to the entrepreneurs to promote the industry.
