Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said this in his address on the occasion of the 77th two-day general convention of Chhattisgarh Manwa Kurmi Samaj at Patan in Durg district. The Chief Minister said that social conferences are being held in the entire state. In these there is a demand for land and building for social work. This is necessary for the smooth functioning of the society. We have given instructions to provide land to the social people during the entire meeting campaign and this land is being made available to the social buildings at a concessional rate. Where there is land, funds are being given for the building.
The Chief Minister said that our forefathers have done a great job in the field of education. Today it is necessary to be educated, to survive in the competition, a solid system and quality system of education is necessary. He said that good English is necessary to perform well in competitive examinations along with education, for this we started Swami Atmanand School. This time Rs 800 crore has been kept for English medium school. Children of rural areas are also now getting the benefit of English education.
The Chief Minister said that we are working to strengthen agriculture. In the country, farmers are getting the highest price for their crops in Chhattisgarh. We are also working for employment generation. RIPA has been started for this. Various types of help have been arranged along with the infrastructure. Such infrastructure will open up huge opportunities for rural entrepreneurs to grow. There is also a system of training in this. The Chief Minister said that an amount of Rs 400 crore has been deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. We are making paint from cow dung. We have also decided to give Rs 7 thousand to the landless laborers of the urban areas. The Chief Minister said that houseless people will be given houses after conducting a survey.
