Raipur. Notorious gangster Aman Sahu, who is lodged in Giridih jail of Jharkhand, is being brought to Raipur under a protection warrant. Aman Sahu has serious allegations against him like extortion from several businessmen and firing outside the office of a businessman in Telibandha police station area in the capital Raipur three months ago, due to which the police will bring him to Raipur and investigate further.

According to the information, a 10-member team of Raipur Crime Branch armed with weapons has left for Raipur from Jharkhand. Additional forces have been deployed for security purposes to bring Aman Sahu from Jharkhand to Raipur. 30 officers of Jharkhand Police along with Raipur Crime Branch team and jawans armed with AK-47 guns are bringing Aman to Raipur so that no criminal incident takes place. This is the first time that a criminal is being brought to Raipur from another state amid such tight security.

It is worth noting that the local police has obtained protection from the court five to six times to bring Aman Sahu to Raipur under a protection warrant, but till now Aman could not be brought to Raipur. Now the court has issued a protection warrant against Aman Sahu and his two henchmen Vikram Singh and Akash Rai alias Monu. All three are currently lodged in Giridih jail. However, it is not clear yet whether Vikram Singh and Akash Rai are also being brought to Raipur along with Aman or not

In this regard, the Giridih jail administration avoids sending Aman on a protection warrant citing his appearance and security.
