Raipur, 25 October 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has given instructions to the district administration not to charge any tax or fee from potters, self-help groups, small artisans on the occasion of Diwali and to provide them with full cooperation and all necessary facilities. It is to be known that stalls, shops are set up by these people for the sale of specially prepared items for the occasion of Diwali. The potters sell their finished products including diyas, lamps, sculptures, various decorative items by self-help groups and small artisans. There should be no financial burden on these people and they can sell the materials conveniently, so the Chief Minister has directed to provide full cooperation and facilities to these people. He issued these orders before leaving for Lucknow stay today.
In this episode, Chief Minister Shri Baghel has also appealed to the general public to take the initiative to include them in their happiness by purchasing materials prepared by local artisans on the occasion of Diwali.
