Governor joins webinar organized on the theme “Competent Disabled Self-reliant India”.
Raipur, 8 September 2020. No matter what hindrance is there, if there is strong will in mind, nothing can stop you from achieving the goal. Whether it is physically or otherwise.
By awakening confidence in the differently abled people, if opportunities and facilities are provided to them, then they may not only be normal people, they may also perform better than them. This view was expressed by Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike. The Governor was addressing a webinar organized by the Public Welfare and Global Forum of Rehabilitation Association on the topic “Able Disabled Persons Self-reliant India”. The Governor congratulated and congratulated the organizers for this event.
Suggesting that Ms. Uike said that if she continues to work for the welfare of the disabled, the concept of a self-reliant India will definitely come true. He said that the Raj Geet of Chhattisgarh gave such a beautiful performance to the Divyang girls in Raj Bhavan in the past, it touched the mind. The Governor referred to the work being done by the flying body of Bhilai and said that such other institutions should also work for the welfare of the differently abled. it occurs. If they are taken care of, they are technically corrected, so they can easily work like normal children. Education can have a wonderful role in this regard. First of all, we have to realize this and know the fact that even the differently abled have the amazing ability that a normal human being can give him extraordinary heights in life.
.
The Governor said that if we talk about the subject of the program, then self-reliant India means that we should use products manufactured in our country. Also, produce the products that are sourced from other countries in your country. Promote and use indigenous products. However, there has been awakening in the society for some time. He said that people with disabilities also have the same abilities as other people in the society, maybe they have more capabilities. My suggestion is that by creating self-help groups of PwDs and connect them with the government schemes of Khadi Village Industries and other departments, they can get support to establish their enterprises. Encourage them to set up small industries.
He said that through social organizations, we should make efforts to make the products made by PwDs available and market them. It will definitely get a response. This will increase their income and they will be able to stand on their own feet. The message of Minister of State for Agriculture, Shri Purshottam Rupala, was broadcast on the occasion. Founder President Janakalyan Ms. Monika Arora and other distinguished citizens were present in the program.
