Raipur, 05 January 2021. The next government medical college in Chhattisgarh will be opened in Janjgir-Champa district. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has announced this effect while addressing a huge farmers conference held at the High School Grounds of District Headquarters Janjgir today.
The Chief Minister has today given 1255 development works worth Rs 1083 crore to the people of the district. These include the inauguration of 419 development works worth Rs 262 crore and the Bhoomi Pujan of 836 construction works worth Rs 821 crore. He distributed material and checks worth Rs.1 crore 12 lakhs to 1051 beneficiaries under various public welfare schemes of the state government. Shri Baghel also announced acceptance of maintenance works of three canals of Chandrapur area of ​​Hasdev Canal Project at the conference. The Kisan Sammelan was presided over by the Speaker Mr. Charan Das Mahant. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri TS Singhdev, Minister of School Education and Tribal and Scheduled Castes Development Shri Premsingh Tekam, Korba MP Smt. Jyotsna Mahant MLA, Shri Ramkumar Yadav, Smt. Indu Banjare and Shri Keshav Prasad as special guests. Chandra was present.

 

The Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel reiterated the promises made by his government towards the farmers at the Mahati Sabha. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to provide a fair price for the paddy of the farmers. For this, in order to encourage cultivation of maize and sugarcane along with paddy under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, farmers are giving input assistance at the rate of Rs. 10,000 per acre. He said that the amount being given under the Rajiv Gandhi Nyaya Yojana is not giving a bonus to farmers for paddy production but as a tribute to their hard work. At the rate of 10 thousand rupees per acre, this amount will continue continuously. The Chief Minister said that the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana has increased the enthusiasm of farmers among farmers. They have also got prosperity due to such a huge amount. It has also seen its impact on the market. Even due to farmers and villagers, we have also witnessed the economic recession Has copied with success. The Chief Minister said that every day we are bringing more and more farmers under the support price. Two years ago, we had purchased 83 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. So far, about 54 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased this year.

 

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Chhattisgarh is a state with abundance of farmers and laborers. The development of the state lies in their strength. Mr. Baghel said that despite the tough challenge of the Corona era, we did not allow the pace of development to slow down. While many governments took other measures like MP funds and salary cuts, But we kept Chhattisgarh untouched by all these. All the development works including the 2 crore MLA funds are going on as before. To give speed to development works worth thousands of crores, we have decided to undertake intensive tour of districts. The Chief Minister said that under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, we have provided funds to farmers at the appropriate time of farming and Teej Tihar. Three installments have been given so far. The fourth installment will be distributed in the current financial year. Baghel said that FCI has received permission to procure rice late this year. Generally, paddy is allowed only at the beginning of the purchase.

 

The Chief Minister praised the farmers of Janjgir district and said that Chhattisgarh produces maximum paddy in this district. He said that Minimata, Janjgir is today one of the most irrigated districts of the state due to the far-sightedness of our great forefathers like Bisahudas Mahant. The credit of extension of Hasdev Canal Project in Janjgir district goes to these politicians. Taking advantage of this, the farmers of the district are becoming prosperous and prosperous. Mr. Baghel said that the matter of buying paddy by selling paddy is now outdated. The new trend of buying dung by selling dung has now started. This is amazing of the success of Godan Nyaya Yojana. Mr. Baghel said that Gothan will be made in all 11 thousand gram panchayats of the state. 7400 have been approved so far. Of these, the work of purchasing cow dung is being done in 4100. These Gauthans will not only be developed as a center of livelihood for local villagers, but also for cows and bullocks.

 

Presiding over the program, Speaker of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Shri Charan Das Mahant welcomed the Chief Minister in his home district. He said that the Chief Minister is making intensive visits to all the districts including farmers, laborers on the occasion of Narva, Garwa, Ghurwa and Bari to know their movements. During this time, they talk to the officers in a kindred environment. This is a good initiative. He said that due to the efforts of our forefathers, the maximum irrigation and canal network is spread in Janjgir district. More paddy arrivals have been estimated this year than last year’s 7.86 lakh metric tons. He told that many youth from Janjgir district live in other European countries including America. To them, the renaissance of the Narva, Garwa and Chhattisgarhi culture of Chhattisgarh is heard.
Health and Family Welfare Minister and Janjgir District Incharge Minister Shri TS Singhdev said that despite challenges, the State Government has made remarkable achievements in the last two years. Government has got first place in the implementation of many schemes. He said that the infection of corona has started decreasing now. He agreed to the demand of all the public representatives of the district to open a medical college and assured to send the proposal to the Central Government with recommendations. He said that the permission to open a medical college is given by the Central Government. MLA Mr. Ramkumar Yadav, Shri Keshav Prasad Chandra and Mrs. Indu Banjare also addressed the function. District Collector Mr. Yashwant Kumar gave the welcome address. He informed about important achievements made under priority schemes of the state government in the last two years. A large number of public representatives and rural farmers were present on the occasion including former Rajya Sabha MP Shri Ramadhar Kashyap, former MLA Motilal Dewangan, Mr. Chunnilal Sahu, Mr. Chan Singh Samale, State Cooperative Bank President Mr. Baijnath Chandrakar.
