Encouragement given to newly admitted students

State Commerce, Industry and Labor Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan today attended the convocation ceremony of Government Engineer Visvesvaraya Post Graduate College Korba as the chief guest. The program was inaugurated by Minister Shri Devangan by lighting a lamp on the photograph of Goddess Saraswati, the presiding deity of speech. On this occasion, Minister Shri Devangan said that convocation ceremony is being organized with the aim of making the newly admitted students in all government and private colleges feel comfortable in the new environment, teaching them the special nature and culture of the institute, building relationships with other students and faculty members and introducing them to the broader purpose and the spirit of self-discovery.
Minister Shri Dewangan said that through the National Education Policy, we will be aware of different subjects, certainly in future our education policy will create a new identity at the global level. He told the students to keep moving forward and lead an ideal student life. The new education policy is going to be a means of realizing the hopes and aspirations of the youth.
Minister Shri Devangan said that this is the biggest college in the district. Today is the first day of admission for the newly admitted students. He said that you are getting admission in college after completing your school studies, just like a sapling is planted, after that the sapling becomes a big tree and provides coolness to the entire nature. In the same way, today you have also made your debut. When you will come out of college after getting education from here, you will also bring laurels to the nation by achieving great things for the nation.
On this occasion, the Principal of the college Dr. Sadhana Khare, the President of the Public Participation Committee Mrs. Kavita Singh Rajput, Councilor of Ward No. 16 Mr. Narendra Dewangan, District Vice President Mr. Prafull Tiwari, Dr. Renu Bala Sharma, Dr. S.K. Gobhil, Dr. Avantika Kaushil along with a large number of students and teachers were present.

Addressing the students on this occasion, he said that from today you are students of the college and by using this temple of knowledge, you will be able to take your future towards all-round development. By using the new education policy and implementing the new education in your life, you will be able to contribute to the concept of a prosperous and developed India.
